 I have been using SoundTap for a couple of months now. On my older computer, with Windows XP Home, it performs flawlessly, and I am very pleased with the results. On my latest computer with Windows Vista Home Premium I have had very serious problems. Quite often I get a BSOD as soon as I try to start SoundTap. I have a feeling it may be related to the Realtek sound chip on my Gigabyte motherboard but I\'m not certain. I would like to try and install an older version of SoundTap but I don\'t know where to ...
 I like it a lot I just can`t afford it I declined to purchase the system because it was a little pricey from me as a college student right now. I was pleased with its performance though
SoundTap Streaming Audio Recorder Works like a charme, was looking for a program that could capture sound/audio from mozilla firefox. I already installed like 10 different applications but they all didn't worked, at least not easily. SoundTap doesn't work on my Vista 64 bits though, but i have a windows xp 32 bits laptop which i installed it on. It installs a second audio driver and sets that as the default for xp. then all audio you play will just be captured by this device. You can then export it to a wave file. Excactly the program i was looking for :)

 As with every other BPM detector I have found it only reads .mp3 files. Most of the music I have is .m4p and I don\'t want to convert it I just want to know what BPM it is so I can use it to exercise to!

this thing works great.I\'ve been using it to find the tempos of beats made on a keyboard drum machine. It\'s nice to know the exact tempo sometimes like 112.14.I would never be able to get it that exactly.
hey guys great program very helpful. Could be improved in allowing the search engine to search subfolders as well so i don't have to search through each file individually, have my music saved in artist/album/song format so is taking quite a while.
 This is a great idea--It would be even better if it worked! I just want something to tag the bpm of my music for my ipod. Guess I'll have to keep looking, because this application didn't do it.
 Good software Software was easy to install and worked well. Used it to check against another bpm counter and the bpm's were pretty closely matched down to the 100th. Easy to use but haven't fully explored it yet.

My only gripes are that i) I can't easily work out how to persuade it to save converted files elsewhere than under %USERPROFILE%, ii) I'd like a little more control of the filelist (reorder, rename and so on) and iii) I would like an option to stream raw PCM over LAN
could be good while this program looks usable and good i can't use it. i havn't been able to connect to my own server with media player. i tried a dns domain and did it through that but that didn't work. media player just froze so i havn't been able to test it properly but it looks easy to use.
 Broadwave Streaming Audio Server is the best I try to use so many servers for radio streaming broadcast. Broadwave is very easy, simple, and friendly to used.
